my hatch after it's been fixed...
how it looked 2 weeks ago...
how it looks now...
my ho made intake...
another shot of the front end...
i'm happy with my cheap intake. the price varies greatly depending on the air filter you use. the mendral bent tubing and hose clamps came out to be around 25 bucks all together.
i just got my car back last friday. they almost totaled it.
it seems to run fine. the only thing that bothers me, is the hood is a little higher on one side. i had them adjust it once, but it's still a little off.
the whole front end had to be painted and for another 100 bucks, they painted my roof and mirrors (which was badly needed). i wanted to have them paint the whole car, but they gave me a quote of 1,500. the front already had to be painted, so i don't know where they come up with that figure.
my amber corner lights were broken and i got stockers to replace them. when i get some more money, i'm going to buy the vision smoked lenses.
tell me what you think.

yeah, it don't look bad. i still don't think of it as the same car anymore.
the accident shouldn't be my fault. my insurance still hasn't said anything, but everyones told me, the other guy caused the accident.

Looks good. They did a great job. Only thing now is that you will always know that damn hood is off , and it will bug the living **** out of you...hehehe, BTW, I'm actually looking for a black SI hatchback. Wanna sell yours?

yeah, they fixed the car in little over a weeks time. i was impressed.
there's a few things that bother me. like the seams around the bumper and fenders are little off, but you really have to look. the headlights have a small gap around them and they put some rusty lookin' used parts on the car... like the fan, a radiator bracket(s).
actually yeah... it was slightly higher on the drivers side and it was a little crooked(sp?), so i had them take the hood off and try to adjust it. they got the hood on straight now, but it's still higher on the drivers side.
i might look at it myself.

i give the body shop that fixed my car a 
. very nice people and quick service.
and yes... subway and ford rangers are evil... stay away. too bad my dad just got a ranger identical to the one that pulled out in front of me.
