Clutch Hydraulic system problem
Hello,
I have a 96 Accord EX CD7 5spd. Been having issues with my clutch hydraulic system and thought i'd post for any help. My clutch pedal has been losing pressure/tension and sticking to the floor. I thought i might have gotten some air in the lines somehow so i bled the system and the pressure/tension came back. 2 days later, same symptoms. Bled system again, but this did not fix. Brought to my local mechanic and they replaced the master cylinder. Car drove perfectly for 9 days after that. Then all of a sudden, same symptoms again. Bring back to the mechanic and had the slave cylinder replaced. On my way to work this morning, the clutch pedal wanted to stick to the floor again. Pulled over, popped the hood and removed the clutch fluid resevoir cap and checked that the fluid level was good. Replaced cap and oddly enough didnt have any more problematic symptoms the rest of the drive to work.
So pretty much all the major components of the hydraulic system have been replaced. The symptoms are more persistent in the morning, after the car has been sitting up overnight, than during the day. I'm kind of at a loss for what else it could be. Possibly a pinhole in the line somewhere?
Any info is appreciated.

i would say its one of three things. either the bleeding process has not been done properly, the new slave cylinder or new clutch mast cylinder is defective, or your line from the clutch master cylinder to the slave cylinder has a small hole in it and is acting up and leaking once the car is completely warmed up. it can take awile for the car to fully fully warm up and notice a problem.
how new is the clutch
how new is the clutch
Check the hose, a leak (would think the fluid would be low but that is a different issue) or a "weak" rubber line - just like a brake hose that is weak.
Or, without room at the top of the res? I'll let ya'll take it from there, there is a reason there is a "max" line on the brake and clutch master.....just like enigne and trans fluid....too much can be a bad thing.
