Hey guys -
I'm sure you have seen my thread about selling my ITRs and that has been going pretty well. The one car I am going to keep is 01-0001. She has been in my possession for about 4 years now and has seen the road maybe 2,000 miles.
Originally picked her up with a gsr motor in it ( car was stolen in 03 I think ) - I tracked her once and then decided to swap in a built ls-vtec motor - I hit the track again and this time went off resulting in a bent trailing arm and cracked wheel.
Got that fixed and I drove it just a little bit more until late december when the car shut off on me doing about 10mph on my street. Verdict was a broken valve spring and the car has been sitting since Dec 2010.
My intentions have always been to put an ITR motor back in it and I bought one from my good buddy Chase. Dropped it off to get an oem rebuild on Valentines day and I finally got it back a week ago..... with that said, enjoy.
Poor R

Red DC5 recaros that I have never sat in and the s2000 cluster ( props to American.Graffiti ) that saw maybe 4 miles before the car blew

Old motor coming out -

New motor waiting

No cherry picker so I did the old school drop and slide out method lol

Swapping the JDM ITR tranny over ( notice the cool seatbelt pad I found )

Sliding the motor back in the car

More pictures to come - hopefully she starts right up !
One day I'll make it to an expo event and meet you guys

May I ask how many miles are on the chassis?
And man that really sucks that the VINs can't be kept the same on #0001.
But good luck on the build, it already looks great. In for more.
