Default Snapped oxygen sensor

Think was so rusted it snapped. Now I only have the thread part in the exhaust manifold. Anyone ever experienced this and know how to get it out. 94 Civic EX. Was trying to replace it.

Is it flush with the manifold?

I would spray it with some wd 40, pb blaster etc.

Go get a ez out, except that is a pretty big bolt, I hope they make one that big.

Basically you drill into it, then use the ex out to extract it.

Yeah, it's pretty flush with the manifold. It's a pain in the ***. Don't know if someone actually tightened it that tight or it just rusted tight over time. I'll look for the ez out thing. Where can I get it?

Autozone or equivalent. Most hardware stores.

How about just leave it and have a new bung welded in? If it's a stock manifold, who really cares?

Thats what I did. Best thing I ever did, its not worth spending hours reefing on it just to get it out. Headers are cheap.

Cut through it with a hacksaw blade across the threads and use a hammer and cold chisel to knock the piece out.

or cut across and make a slit and use a large screw driver to back it out.

I ended up just drilling the sucker out. The ez out wouldn't even budge it. Just drilled it till it was almost all gone then got it out with pliers.

Threads were fine. I made sure I didn't drill it too much. The new o2 sensor went in pretty smoothly.
