I caught this one too late. Hoochn wasn't able to make it unfortunately, I'm sure you figured the rest of us out though. Nice putting a face to the name

I was there, but I had my AP1. I was in advanced 1 and EASILY the best looking guy there.

My friend was supposed to drive out my ITR and he ended up bringing a Land Cruiser instead. It was our mobile air conditioning/device charging shed. So bringing it was a good idea...but I was kinda bummed I didn't have my R cuz I saw so many of yous guys out there.

That EVO was on big slicks and had, I'm sure, well over 400whp. No chance lol. I was running just a few seconds behind another EVO on slicks and big power, though.

I was there. I showed up Sunday to run a few sessions and have one of the instructors take it out for a spin. I was the Filipino in the Epic Meal Time shirt.

Yes, Justin. I got my shoes... lol. Make sure you make it to Wangfest on Labor Day. I'll see if I can make it out there to run or spectate.

I'll be at wangfest with my ITR most likely. I think my GF is driving it out there for me if I decide to bring the S2000 as well.

BTW, I think some of you fools were in my vids:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FX5Y7Cz95Y

The plan here was to go slow to let the tires cool down a bit. Towards the middle of the video, though, I decide to go the other route. DeSTrOy THE TIRES with oversteer. Plus, you see a civic spin out around 1:55ish, and you can see some ITRs at the end.

I was catching up to the Spoon car as it spun off track in this vid.

Definitely some ITRs here:

I think it didn't help that most of the people in Advanced1/Advanced2 were on slicks or R compounds. I'm still on Starspecs and they seem to grease up a bit in hotter weather.

I have to sell my WangFest spot due to being out of the country and getting back late that night before at best.

PM me...I'm still hoping to get out there in the afternoon to say hello, but driving is probably out of the question.

I'm sure you ran me down in one of those videos, s2k's were all over this weekend. I was driving blind all weekend but that course is fun and I want to go back now. My RE-11's did excellent in the rain, I did throw on brand new fulltread RA1's on the second day that felt marginally grippier but I'm sure they're going to be ridiculous soon.

Oooo I remember that session. I was behind the 135 for a while then going hot into T10 I got a bit too close. He checked up and I had to swerve. A little lawn mowing.

Nice Wai, did not know you were going, or would have had the spoon ITR, I'm still demanding a ride in that thing. Hope all is well!

Hey Andrew, everything is good here! I didn't expect ProFunction to get it up running for the event but they did . This is my first time driving it in TWO full years. I miss it a lot. I was really sloppy, but after a couple sessions things got a bit better. Hope to get it out a couple more times this year.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if it was you driving it or not. It seems like a rare occasion when you're actually driving your car haha. I saw you lock up the rears when you were checking up on Alex in the 135i. I was trying to see thru the smoke/dust to make sure you hadn't flipped! Glad it came out ok. That looks like a shitty place to go off sideways because the track drops off so steeply into the dirt. Dunno if you know, but you were definitely 2 wheeling it into the dirt when you went off.

I was thinking about switching to RE-11s figuring they were going to be less greasy than the Z1 starspecs in hot weather...but:
1.) They don't make them in 265/40R17
2.) The cost/benefit ratio doesn't make sense in S2000 sizing.

For ITR sizing, they're definitely a value. FYI for RE11 guys...Costco has a $100 off the set of 4 sale on bridgestones. IIRC, with install and tax and road hazard and everything, it's like $525 for a set of RE11s in 205/50/15 out the door! Good deal if you ax me.

Wow really! It didn't feel too dramatic inside the car. And I was glad that the bumper, splitter and exhaust didn't get ripped off.
