Default Electrical Guru's, need your help ASAP!

My friends 2002 Civic radio no longer works. Along with this problem, keyless entry doesnt work.

Also, the interior doesnt chime when you have the keys inside the ignition. What could this be? fuse or relay?

Thanks in advance.

my guess would be the fuse, but why it would go bad is beyond me.

Back in my day as a Circuit Shitty installer I found that the door lock module is located in the radio chassis. Might be the same for the 2002 modles. Check the fuse for the radio. The chime is dependant on the dome light so check that fuse out also. If the fuses are good, then head off to the dealer.

I rarely visit this forum, glad I did today. I hope I helped you.

It ended up to be a fuse huh?.. Well, let me tell you something.. If it was a blown fuse. I bet you it'll happen again. You want to know why?.. It's because Grounded Circuits blow fuses. And if you don't find and fix them, it's gonna happen again. And here's another thing. There's no such thing as a "bad" ground. I can corrodded ground, or even a loose ground. But I can't tell if it's bad. Think about it.. That goes for everyone..
