This will probably be locked since it's not ITR related, but I thought I would share...
Autozone now has a coupon for $10 off 5qt+ jugs or 5 individual qts of mobil-1 oil.

And if that's not good enough for you, you may be able to use the coupon at Walmart. The register clerks told me they couldn't take the coupon since it's not in Walmart's system, but their manager had no problem doing an ad-match to make it work $10 off. Certainly doesn't hurt to ask.
I just picked up two jugs (10qts) for only $34 with tax.

that's good. my engine hates synthetic oil. it drinks mobile 1 like it was a cold 40oz. when i changed to conventional oil, i. never have to add 1qt of oil in between oil changes, and i still drive hard. it took me 2yrs to figure this out! O_O <shocked

Ehhh....I'll take my fancy pants oil over the generic stuff all day. It's worth it. I'm using Total 10W40 Race Oil. Standard oil used in Porsche and BMW M series engines. Highly recommended by Black Stone Labs.
I don't think you can use this coupon with that deal right? In reality isn't it a better deal at Autozone to do the oil + filter cause the Mobil 1 filter is like $10+?
Have you tried using a different synthetic other than M1? I don't want to get into it too much (research on bob the oil guy) but I wouldn't put 30wt M1 in any car that is supposed to use 30wt. Its very light for a 30wt and breaks down to a 20wt very quickly.

That's not true. An SAE grade-30 oil is supposed to be between 9.3 and 12.5 centistrokes (cst) at 100*C. M1's 5w30 is 11 and their 0w30 is 10.9.

Mobil1. $30 for the M1 filter and 5qts of M1 synthetic oil, any weight. M1EP is a bit more.
I think I also saw Quaker State 5qt + Purolator filter for $15. This oil is pretty common in the LS1 crowd, where Mobil1 and Pennzoil Platinum return the best UOA results.

Yes that's a nice deal too. Especially when your getting a little over 5 qts in the Autozone jugs. Too bad they don't have all the options that Walmart does (high mileage and Advanced economy). Either way it's good stuff.
The guy I bought my Teg from gave me some extra M1. I used it just because I'm cheap and it was burning off a quart like every 2-3 fill ups. The last time I changed my oil I put in GTX 10-30, it has around 3.5k on it now and I have only added around a quart, maybe 1.5.
I have a buddy with a tubro DSM that uses M1 and doesn't seem to have any problems with it. He rarely drives the car though because its usually not running, lol.
