aftermarket 99-00 si grill question(look-a-like)
i was wondering if i were to buy a 99-00 aftermarket grill for my 99-00 conversion, would it make a gap in between my parts?
because i want my front end to be flush, but i see a lot of pictures that have grilles that look aftermarket, but look flush.
i no the 96-98 aftermarket grilles had a little gap,
but anyway, please help the best you can
thanks!

Your best bet is to source out an OEM 99-00 EM1 grill. It will fit better than any knock off, and it's made in two pieces so you can paint the trim without painting the grill.
I had a knockoff "ctr grill" for years, it fit alright, the paint looked "okay" but it isn't nearly the quality and fitment of a real EM1 or CTR grill. Look around at local junkyards, craigslist, etc and you can often find the EM1 grills for $50-150.
I paid $50 for mine, had it painted for $60. And it is an oem grill that fits perfect.
Compare that to my knock-off grill that I had that was $50 shipped, I spent $40 on automotive paint and clear coat, and had a much lower quality product.

and because its hard, online is easy, but then i have to pay for shipping
and i dont no what a good price is for a grill piece because its expensive,
but thanks for the advise!
i got my grill from jdmshit.com, great quality great fitment i've had mine for 4 years and no complaints, ohh i paid like 40 bucks including shipping
