Default Looking to make over 650whp on turbo build

What's going on guys? I'm new to the forum and wanted to get a few opinons on a good built that will offer over 650whp for my s2k. Got the cat a few years back (ap1) with a good amount of miles on it ,added a cheap godspeed t04 turbo kit and blew the engine in no time.lol Since then I've bought a ap2 engine built by InlinePro

Darton Sleeves
Crower Rods
Cp pistons
Arp rod bolts
3mm Head Gasket
Brian Crowler 2mm over sized valves
Complete port and polished head

Everything was balanced and blue printed By InlinePRO

Engine is still crated at the moment but want to get this built together before I return home from Afghanistan. Here is what I have on the shopping list so far..v2 aem,Full Race mani, precision 6262 or Garrett gt40bb,1200cc injectors,44 tial wastegate,BC stage 2 turbo cams, and 255 in-tank.

Chicago? Welcome to the forum!

Can I say a few things?
You dont need the 3mm head gasket. I'm guessing with the build motor you wont with a lower compression. The 3mm head gasket would lower it EVEN lower. The 6262 would be your best bet. The gt40 will be over kill. What injectors? you would be good with some ID1000s. You wont need the cams and I would recommended the full blown dual intake 255s or a bosch 044.

Yea just like hondakyle said, no need for the head gasket. The Ilp 3mm hg gives nothing but problems and they don't usually last that long, especially with this much power.

I would stick with those injectors because at that power, the duty cycle will be pretty high with the 1000s.

Precision 6262 ball bearing is your best bet. Spools nicely, makes great power, but im still a fan of the garretts over it. I'd go gt3582x if I had the money instead.

No need for cams, at all. The stock ones are great and people have put down great power with them.

A walbro 255 will not be enough, not even close. You will need another one or a a Bosch 044 instead.

After about 550whp the stock fuel system will not be enough either, so I hope you have plans for a return style fuel system.

Yeah, i'm from Chicago now stationed in Hawaii.I'll have the 3mm hp removed then, i'm pissed I'm not at home to do the work. Know any good tuners in Chicago area? scratch the cams.and Ill probably go with the bosch 044.6262 it is.Thanks
