hey all on the motor i'm putting together i've run into a bit of a pain- the connector for the o2 sensor from my cat (on the harness im using, im told this harness is from a 95 integra) is under the distributor.

the problem is, it isnt NEAR long enough to reach to the plug itself. so, why is it like this? is it possible this harness is NOT from an LS? i know it was obd1 because of the alt/injector plugs but the placement of the o2 sens. plug is odd.

i've already remedied it by extending the wire coming from the o2 sensor, but i just wanted some closure.

 

Sounds like a D series harness. I'm using a D16Z6 harness on my GSR engine and the original O2 sensor plug is in front of the distributor.

 

The D15b7 harness is almost identical, just no VTEC wiring.

 

oh.....dang. well no real problem i guess, i'll just lengthen the wire from the o2 plug :D

 

Nope, not an issue at all. Preferably get some heat shrink and put that around the wires when you solder them.
