Default 2006 si

anyone have any thoughts good or bad on to buy the 06-10 si or the 2011?

If I were you I would buy the newest one you can afford, beware of the trans problems on the 06 to 08's.

In other words don't buy a 06 to 08 unless whoever is selling it can prove the trans has been rebuilt.

I think the only other differences are on the newer cars they have a traction control, and tire pressure sensors.

I had non si' 8gen civics and I can say the si is a way better choice, the power is outstanding and fun to drive.

I'd buy any of them, but make sure you can get a warranty. Maybe like a ceritfied car or an after market warranty. Because that tranny is know to blow out 2nd gear.

Whether or not the tranny has been rebuilt is meaningless, not sure why people get so hung up on that.

They fixed the trans issue in 08... so 08 are safe!

The dealer I work at hasn't had any 09+ come in yet, but just give it time, some dumb *** will grenade one lmao

love my '09! still treat it as if its a new car even though its almost 2 years old.

and no, still have not had any probelems with the transmission, still silky smooth. I'm pretty easy on it though, just some spirited driving from time to time.
