Another oil pump question..
I have a Built B16 and am in the process of replacing the oil pump.
I have the old one off, but am COMPLETELY clueless about which pump to buy.
From what I'm reading, all of the Obd2 pumps are the same..but there are differences with the Obd1 aka what I have.
I was told by my local auto parts honda guy to replace it with a gsr pump, but have no idea which year to buy it for. When I go to a parts store I search for a 1994 Acura Integra GSR. As far as I know thats the right pump.
Am I on the right track or should I be looking for something else?

Sorry, I knew I should have clarified.
I was told that the GSR pump had a higher flow rate, and seeing as my build will redline at 9300 I figured I could use all the extra oil I could get lol.
Is the GSR the same as the B16?

Get one for a 1996 Integra GSR. The GSR had the B18C1 and the OBD2 pump tends to be a little cheaper ($10-20) and everything bolts up fine. I have an OBD2 pump on my OBD1 GSR motor with OBD1 plastics bolted on.
All OBD2 pumps are the same. This even goes for an ITR (including GSR, B16, B18, etc), so if anything can oil your setup at those revs, it can.
According to ^^^^him, the OBD1 plastics will bolt up to the OBD2 pump. I was told different, so with my recent built, I just bought a lower timing cover that was OBD2 too (just in case).
