so im about to sell my integra and get me another eh hatch...

i was into d-series motors before, but now id like to try b-series.

ive read here somewhere in h-t that if your car is bar'd for LS, you can swap any b-series after (gsr b16 etc) and if got pulled over, CHP cant realy do anything because its been bar'd for b-series...is that true? just need to clear this up, thanks for any imput

 

Kinda in the grayzone actually. On your BAR sticker it will say Acura 1.8 liter and not B18b or B18c or whatever so the CHP won't know. Pretty sure the tech at the smog centre would know though.

 

actually, scratch that. on the "comment" section it will probably say the name of the engine.

 

alrite, so if i swap to a b20b and my car is bar'd for b18b1, flags will raise when CHP pops open my hood huh...

my del sol had a bar'd b18b, but the "comment section" was blank, you can have any b-series motor in there, it just has to be the same year.
