Default Having exhaust troubles, really need help.

Alright so when I swapped from d to b series instead of spending x00 dollars on an exhaust the guy I had doin the swap, cut the end off my old stock exhaust and welded on a b series flange.

Well it started leaking, so I had a guy make me one at a place in Richmond kentucky called four c cycles, in return for a racing harness and somethin else I can't recall. Anywhoo, he routed it for his vx hatch. It wound up not fitting, so he had to go and make me a 6 inch extension due to our different test pipes.

I picked up the extension a few days later, and here's what I ended up with

[I apologize for my 6 year old handwriting, and whatnot]

The hangers on the exhaust are facing the opposite way they should to line up with my car's hangers. So I just went and picked up some picture hanging wire and hung it for the time being so that my stepdad can cut off the hangers on the exhaust and flip em.

So knowing my exhaust is kinda iffy, I'm having troubles hanging my Apexi n1 muffler I picked up from a local guy the other day

it's an authentic N1, not one of the eBay N1's

But it's made with an offset, so I don't know if it's as hard to hang as it is because it's routed for a different car, because of the offset, or because my mid pipe is too long.

Assuming this jack is my rear passenger side axel, is this how I should be hanging it?

When I tried, my mid pipe was coming back about an inch too far. But i also noticed that the muffler had a hanger on it at one time (guess it got broken off) that should hang up near my axel, but my mid pipe has a hanger on it in the same place, which leads me to believe it's too long.

Also here's a picture of the way the hangers are angled in case it's routed for a different car (mines a 93 dx hatch)

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!! Sorry for such a long post, I like to ramble hahaha.

take it to an exhaust shop. pay x00 amount of dollars and have them fix it.

this really isn't that complicated.

Get under the car, hold the muffler up where it should go and see how it needs to fit. Is there pipe that will connect, is it too short, does it need cut? Exhaust work isn't that hard, just dirty and annoying.

The muffler lines up right, but the mid pipe is about an inch too long. What do you think my best bet would be?

Lol, hard to do when you're broke and don't get paid till next week. If I were to replace the 6" extension he made me with a 5" (or however much it would take to get the muffler to line up with the mid pipe) that should work right? Im just worried that if I do that, the exhaust won't fit in the channel underneath the car because the bend will be an inch closer to the header.
