I was caught off-guard today when my rollbar showed up at work. It's a good thing they took a check since I hadn't gotten the cash to pay them yet.

I wasn't looking for it for about two more weeks. I got caught sleeping... hadn't ordered harnesses, padding, etc.. I guess I could have worse problems. Hopefully I'll get everything in for VIR.

I was planning on it... then again I thought I'd be doing the install in the off-season. If I don't have time, then I'll install it as-is and fix it later.

Hmmm...I ordered mine 5 weeks ago yesterday, and still haven't gotten the call that it's come in yet. Sounds like I might have to buzz them tomorrow. I'd really like to have it in for next weekend.

oh you got that RIGHT! because if it's a bolt in, like mine, which only took me 30 minutes, alone, but had to find a buddy to help bolt in the feet on top of the wheel wells.

 

we have plenty of buddies at VIR........

 

I would if that's all there was. I need to mount the bar so I'll know where to mount the seats, so I'll know where to mount the harnesses.

As a side-note, I've discovered that my new car seats make better tv watching chairs than the LZBoys.

Okay, as a followup...it's come in. (Just over 5 weeks.) I'm sure it was just a matter of waiting until they had a few of the same type to build at the same time, before they built it. It wasn't exactly what I had ordered (I wanted the removable center section), but it turns out that I think I want it the way I have it now.

Who am I kidding? I'm never going to take that center piece out anyhoo.
