So decided to swap a b18b1 in my 97 integra gsr until i get $$ to get another gsr engine or rebuild it.... does anyone know if itll be plug an play or do i have to make any modifications? also can i use the gsr manifold and distributor and axles and ecu from the gsr on the b18b1?

 

im pretty sure its just the motor and ecu. and you have to use the Ls mani cause the gsr wont fit.

 

You cannot use the GSR IM on the ls motor. You can however use the axles and distributor from your gsr swap. You will need an ls ecu.

 

a vtec distributor will not fit on a non-vtec head

 

Are you sure? A non vtec dizzy works on a Vtec motor.

 

it will work but you will have to swap the GSR dizzy guts into the LS dizzy body...I have the guts from an LS on my b18c and it works fine

 

put the gsr head on the ls block, you get to keep your im, your ecu ect....
