seat belt warning
if i take off quick hit 2nd gear hard, the seatbelt light on the headliner starts flashing and the beeper going ape ****. weather i have it buckeld or not. Wont stop untill the key is cycled off and back on. this is a 91 with the belts attached to the doors. anyone have a clue on this one? seems to happen more often during a right hand corner / hard acceleration into traffic.
this has always been a mystery. just pop the cover off the warning light area and unplug the beeper/light wiring harness plug. it won't cause any issues.
you can also unplug the seatbelt harness under the seat.. but that is overkill after unplugging the beeper.

yes. the beeper is right behind the cover around the rear view mirror. pop the cover off, and there is a green(if i remember correct) connector in there. pull it and no more beep.
