94 accord starting problems
so the other day i was picking up a friend and while i was stopped in park i was about to put it in drive and the car died put it back in park and it started up and drove just fine for a bit but then some times when i was stopped it would die and now its hard to start up it will only start up when i have my foot on the gas but will stay started and drive fine at around 35 and higher but at low speeds i hear something knocking but when i give it a little gas it goes away i changed the spark plugs about a month ago other then that i have not done anything else to the car if anybody has any ideas or can help i would really appreciate it thanks for any ideas
the first time it died, it was when i was putting it in to gear, and it just died, then the next time it died, i was at a stop in gear and it was more like a stumble and die and now it wont start with out giving it gas
possable bad gas/water. try some octane booster and some 93 octane. jump on the rear bumper to shake the car and mix it up real good. happened to me once, this fixed it.
I bet you're not giving it gas you're giving it air. The symptom could be caused by a sticking IAC valve. Cleaning it can be iffy depending on how thorough you are.
