Default What Clutch?

Ok, guys, I am in dire need of some advice here. I glazed my clutch today (it was already on its way out) and now I need a new disk. Currently I have the Competition Clutch 4-puck sprung with their "heavy duty" pressure plate. I don't know exactly how much life was left on the clutch when I installed my ITR cams. It may have been on its last leg already. Nevertheless, I need a new disk (and maybe a new clutch altogether). My car is making a bit over 400 whp on our Mustang dyno (that converts to around mid 500's for those of you using an unloaded dyno). I am not exactly sure on the torque because I do not remember. The trans is an LS cable transmission. Would I be safe to buy the same disk again or not? What are you guys running?

Good to hear; that is what I have. Have you had personal experience with this clutch then?

why do you think your clutch failed, how long did it last? or are you saying you have no idea if you got your moneys worth out of the comp 4. tons of threads and most like them. I like mine.. BTW they can turn the flywheel at machine shops? is the pp shot? do you think this was to weak of a clutch. Are you going to use as DD or not. answer some of these then others get idea what you are looking fora clutch to do.

I was very happy with it. But I have not this much power for this long. I drag race this car and daily drive it. I launch at 7,000 at 6-10 psi (depending on the track) using 23 1/2" tall hoosier DOT's. I just need a clutch that can take that power. I do not have enough money for a twin disk. The clutch could possibly have been on its last leg already. I want to know if I should but it again or if i need to upgrade. Thanks!
