fuel question
which route would you rather take?
option 1: stock fuel tank, eliminated internal fuel pump/lines, sump welded on, external lines/pump
option 2: rci(or similar) fuel cell, external pump/lines, placed in original location of oem tank, modded oem filler neck to accommodate fill location of cell.
having an issue on deciding which one to use. id like to keep the stock tank just for the added weight and the ease of not worrying about being too light in the rear end when going fast. this is on an ef hatch as well.

Re: fuel question
to answer your question... option 1 for a dd...
i mean your going to dd a car with like 5 gallons of gas to carry around?
If your power goal is for 450whp then you do not need to go through that much trouble... people have run single walbro intank fuel pumps and made over 500whp... you could get a dw301 or one of the new 340lph fuel pumps and have enough fuel for close to 600whp...

Re: fuel question
Why make it so complicated? Drop in a Walbro and enjoy the car. You don't need anything more than that for your power goals.

Re: fuel question
Not if your power goals are only 450whp. My walbro is supporting me no problem at 402 on E85, and that's on a Dseries.
If you were going for 600whp, I'd say go with the Aeromotive intank and have fun.
IMO, I'd only run a fuel cell when you want to take the car off the road for good. They're such a PITA.
