car wont start...
i just dropped in a b17 in my 92 gsr like 2 weeks ago and it's not starting...could it be a bad dizzy? i'm getting fuel...or maybe a bad ground? how many grounds are their for the engine? i know of the thermostat ground, valve cover ground, tranny ground and battery ground is that about it? or am i missing a ground? the car cranks but it wont start...i test the spark plugs n im not getting any spark at all..can someone shoot some helpful info..reply back here or u can hit me up n help me out at 2095521744...and this is my first swap i've done. thanks..
I would start by making sure you have 12V+ at the distributor assembly, [black/yellow] when ign. switch is on.
If so, pull the cap and rotor and check the coil, [as mentioned] also check the ICM, [igniter] and the connections to the coil and ICM.
Do you hear the fuel pump priming when you turn the ign. switch on to run, [not start]?
Turn ign. switch to run position, cluster should "light up" CEL should turn on and the pump should run for a few sec. and then stop, at the same time as pump stops the CEL should turn off, is this happening? 94

I just bought a brand new Gsr dizzy n I'm getting spark now...the car turns over but won't start...I think it might be my timing...Ls timing belt on b17a? I think that might be the problem...and do you guys know where I can find a torque diagram for my b17a?
