fitting an H brace on an H22 civic posible?

Default fitting an H brace on an H22 civic posible?

i have a 97 civic with an H22a swap in it. the motor is sitting pretty low to the ground and i was wondering if i buy an H brace will i be able to clear my header? anyone tried to do something like this?

Probably not. The brace is a pretty tight fit with the stock engine and exhaust. Ask me how I know.

I know for a fact it does not fit I have tried my self and it would not cear the header and you would have to grind a little bit off the brace to make it clear the tranz case. I was disappointed also lol but thats what we get for running honda's big block

lol i love my h2b eg but ill admit it a pain in the *** with fitment and everything else to get it to work right

haha me to man they got torque for days! I just sleeved and stroked my spare block to a 2.4l and im boostin it after I break it in

We need a solution to this. My exhaust header scrapes and makes a ting sounds over speed bumps every time.

yeah I had the same problem so I just raised mine up a little bit and got a skid plate welded to the bottom of my header.
