use flare nut wrenches, and spray the crap out of all the fittings before you crack 'em loose. i recommend using seafoam deep creep over PB blaster (WD-40 sucks), its like 10 bucks a can, but it works much better... no stripped flare fittings... also, it helps to spray them all a day before you go to work, and also right before.
as for the actual parts and whatnot, go to a u pull it junkyard and find a teg with a clean non-ABS setup, rip out the seats and carpet, and pull the lines going from the proportioning valve to the rear calipers, making sure not to bend them. it takes time, but it can be done. patience. then pull the non-ABS master cylinder, the proportioning valve, all of the lines connected to everything, as well as any plastic clips or metal brackets, etc. that you come across along the way. there's plastic clips holding the lines to floor in the cabin, i'd take a few of those in case you break some on your car while doing the job.
that's pretty much it. be sure to get good fluid, bleed it out properly, with all four calipers being bled out in the right order. (helms manual has a diagram of the order)
but yea, that's basically it. post up if you have more questions... ill hit the thread up again if need be.

proper way?
don't
removing abs is a great way to devalue your car
not to mention make it stop slower
removing abs has two real uses.
1. drag racing only
2. rally / snow racing
if you aren't doing one of those, keep it

^^yea, good point. if i had something newer like in your case, a 98, i wouldn't do it. DC ABS is supposed to be better than the DAs, or so I hear...
its more of a pain in the *** to work on, but its worth it if the ABS doesn't have issues.
