OBD0 - OBDI no EGR solenoid control??
I am in the process of making an OBD0-OBDI jumper harness. On the p28 ECU (OBDI) there is no pin for the EGR solenoid, which the OBD0 has. Does it matter? What have other people done about this?? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hmm... Not sure about the EGR solenoid, but which guide are you using to convert the car to OBD-I?? There are quite a few blank spots on the CRX plugs that you don't use.
I am using the Mitchell's Repair Manual pinout charts. The CRX definitely has a EGR solenoid, and the OBDI car does not (at least not controlled through the ECU). I am wondering what is going to happen emissions/performance-wise if this is not connected. The goal here is to increase performance not 'cause problems!
What engine are you using? I believe the stock Civic (I know.. you said CRX... same engine though) only has EGR for the D15 with an automatic tranny and ONLY in California. The pins should be left empty since you hopefully aren't trying to rewire your DPFI to a MPFI ECU.
