I killed my baby
Barely had her a year... best car ever..97 Honda Accord. Rear ended a nice old lady with a huge spare wheel on the back of her SUV. Here is the damage:

wondering what do do next. Scrap it for parts or a local guy will give me 350$. The people I've had look at it say the main problem is the radiator support bar. Had to be re-welded... I'm in Champaign/Urbana, IL.. Any one got any recommendations?

Sorry to hear about the accident.
If you have the mechanical skill set, time and craigslist skills parting it out there would be best. I had a car with similar damage and made close to $1000 and thats without the motor and trans (keeping a spare backup motor for myself). But Im in LA area so more buyers for stuff so you gotta take that into consideration. If you want to go that route let me know i can give you some tips.

I fixed my that was damaged just like yours. It was very hard to find the parts. I would take out the engine if it has low mileage, other good parts, then scrap it.
I thought of Casey Anthony when I saw the title of your post.

If GM products were ever lacking they certainly haven't been for the last several years. I don't know what they were thinking with the Volt but, that's beside the point. Not saying go get a Buick, just saying they don't make a bad product.
To the OP: Core supports are $45 at Certi-fit. Fix that sucker. I wouldn't recommend body panels from them but, everything else we've gotten from them has fit good.

looks like the engine still might be good .... but u should get more than 350 .... 500 sounds better but sell the engine if its good that is and then sell it at a junkyard for 300
I would rebuild her. There is a shop here locally where I live that sells replacement front end parts. The only things they may not have are the lights. Google norcal stylez. They also sell accord sir lips. Last I checked they had only the front. Good luck. Are you planning to do motor upgrades?
Not sure if you need this, but check with a local body shop to see if they can pull the frame forward. Just suggesting cuz not sure how much damage was done to the frame. Good luck.
