Default How would you remove dried loctite from a threaded hole?

The 6 holes on my flywheel that are used for the pressure plate mounting screws have dried up loctite in them (after removing my clutch). How would you remove it? I was going to run a tap through there, but all I have is a "thread cutting" tap. I would think the better tap to use would be a "thread chasing" tap but I cannot find one from mcmaster-carr for M8-1.25mm thread.

That tap size is very common. Just Google it and there are plenty of places selling them.

thread chasing tap is exactly what you need. if you use a regular tap, the bolt will be out of tolerance and will never torque properly. in a bind, i have used a pick to get in there and run it around the threads. it won't get it all out like a thread chaser will, but it will get out majority of it

Grab a spare bolt and use a cutting disc to run a notch up the length of the bolt. One is enough, but one on each side can be a real help if there's a ton of crap in there. It works just like a thread chaser and its free...
