91 Si wheel locked in place
a friend has a 91 civic Si he just bought with a busted trans mount. the whole weight of the motor was resting on the rear and driver mounts, it made it most of the way home fine but right as he pulled up to his house the axle snapped because the motor was so slanted.(lucky he was in front of the driveway already)
today we installed a new mount and axle we purchased from a friend of mine. everything went smoothly until we noticed before lowering the car that the wheel was stuck completely in place. we lowered the car down and in neutral it does not roll in any direction and in gear it acts as if the e brake was on, what could be the problem?
notes
-axle snapped at the joints
-replaced tranny mount and pass axle
-wheel does not want to move anymore, in neutral or in gear
-car wants to stall when placed in gear and the clutch is released.
any help is appreciated, thanks

1.) What was the axle from?
2.) Back off the axle nut - if it frees it up then it is binding on the dust sheild. Did the replacement axle have an ABS ring on it or something?
3.) If 2 doesn't work then jack it up off the ground and see if it spins. If it does the axle is binding and it is too long.

I found out the axle came from an eg and I returned it. Called autoparts store and confirmed that hydro and cable axles have different part number
