Default What oil pan are you using?

I would assume that most are running a baffled pan? Just curious as to what one you are using or your opinions on the different ones. I know there is Mugen, Moroso, Canton, PWJDM and Fastline Performance that are a self install into an OEM pan, Spoon, TODA... there's a lot lol.

OEM. But I did just purchase a brand new Moroso baffled oil pan for $63, can't beat that steal of a deal. Gotta love craigslist. I've been running the OEM pan for 4 years on track and never had an issue.

I had issues pre-baffles with my OEM pan... Added the baffles and now havn't had an issue since... however I am in need of an oil pressure gauge soo... I can't prove it's working yet.

-Teal... Who just realized he should get an Oil pressure gauge....

I run the Mugen. Didn't want to fuss around with getting my OEM one welded and now I can sell the OEM pan, so it wasn't too bad really.

same pan here. No complaints. Fits well with no leaks, as long as you wrap the turbo oil return and oil temp bung plugs with teflon tape before install.

At 5.5 quarts, the dipstick reads perfectly full as well.

I'm running the oem pan in my b18c. Pressure has never dropped below 4 bars in any corner with 225 r compounds tires. Usually lies around 6 bars.

Z10 Engineering 5 QT pan with oil levels at 5.5 quarts i was still losing pressure.

Ditched the z10 pan and bought an OEM pan, Ed Sackly welded baffles and haven't had a issue since. Constant pressure in and out corners, thanks Ed! I've heard good things about the Mugen pan, however its costly. If you want to spend a little more look into the Canton Oil pans.

Do the Moroso pans hang lower or is the extra amount added to the back portion?

The road race (steel) pan just has a kick out for the extra capacity and doesnt hang any lower than a stock pan. The aluminum one I think might hang lower. But the al one shouldn't be used for a RR car anyway IMO.

I am going on vacation for a month starting tomorrow so I'm in no rush lol. I like the idea of the Moroso having the oil drainback and temperature bung already welded in, seems like a great way to run a return off of a oil cooler and of course monitor temperature without having to tap into something. Only problem being they are $250 and that's not exactly what I would like to spend lol.

250 seems like a good deal to me. Just ordered my moroso.I'm interested in seeing how it seals because my oem one has always leaked a small amount even after many attempts and methods used to fix it.

no leaks or issues at all. does not hang any lower or fit any differently than stock (except for kick-out).

i also run the moroso road race 5.5 quart pad. never any problem. for some reason takes almost 6 quarts to fill.

side not, i could not run the stock b18c pan, would not clear my z10 block girdle.
