eg front end on del sol

Icon2 eg front end on del sol

i wanna put an eg front end on my del sol, do i only have to change bumper, fenders and hood ? or something else on the core support?

not to thread jack but where did this trend come from? just this year i've seen like 4-5 del sols with eg front ends

i saw one locally with a ek front end.. looked rather clean but i would never do it

was it black with a 99-00 or green with a 96-98?

ive always liked the eg hatches but i wanted a roadster so why not mesh the two

It's actually far more difficult than some may imagine. Not only do you have to change core supports but you also have to cut and weld del sol and civic fenders and hood together. I imagine if you're a master fabricator or body man it would be a very simple conversion.

I personally wouldn't do it because these cars are almost considered classics and before we realize it they're going to be extremely hard to find completely stock. I'm not saying don't do it completely, but if you do, try and find a wrecked del sol or one that needs some good loving.

Weld the hood?? Im doing conversion now and everything u said adds up but the hood doesnt make sence.
