Tempest Racing is moving?
Doing my daily rounds today, I happened to stop over at www.greasyblocks.com and noticed an entry about Joe Simpson and the folks at Tempest Racing. Sounds like they are doing big things in MD these days.
Here's the entry

Yep it's true he's moving to a new and bigger place. I'm very happy for Joe and NEW Tempest Racing. Congrats bro :-) best wishes with the new place, definitely one of the best shops in MD.
What I ment was that Joe needs a few good guys instead of some sketchy ones he's had in the past. I think we all remember Brett. lol
thanks everybody.... yea bret was here a couple months and didnt work out, that was SIX years ago so why anybody would bring that up is crazy. have not talked to him since the day we let him go.
the new shop is great, we are up and running enough to begin working on cars today! waiting on a cable that should be here today and then the dyno will be fully functional. heat and AC in the building, enough room to just drive a truck and trailer inside if we need to. multiple lifts, alignment machine, tire mounting and balancing machine, security system with camera's inside and out. show room, inventory room, parts storage rooms, personal offices... couldnt be happier.
our current staff consists of people i have personally known for years and years, guys that have been in the automotive game for years and years, or both. we currenty have Jeff C. (not the same jeff that was here in the past) John, Kayvon, Jody, and myself. for the last couple of years john has been helping me with work in the shop but i have been doing the rest myself. the larger staff we have now should help us expand and grow and do some of the things we have been wanting to do for a long time but have not had the manpower to do so.
i cant wait to get 100% up and going!! getting closer every day.

Just to let you know Joe, when I'm on other forums and people ask for help that live in your area, I send them your web site.
I hope others on here do the same thing.
Keep growing.

yea im not going to miss the amish thats for sure! these new early hours are going to take some getting used to, but should make us more productive. having a show room again and room for inventory is going to be one of the best parts.
hopefully here soon we will have a "grand opening". i will be sure to make a post with the details. thanks everybody for the support, we appreciate it
