All you need is some JB Weld, Duct Tape, and a hammer or two.

I have not purchased the motor yet, but i have the money, the engine is really hard to find. What about an S2000 motor swap? I can ask my parents for a little more $ if I pay them back.

The reason nobody's doing those swaps is the same reason I can't just jump off the GD roof & fly away- because it's ******* impossible .

dude you better drop that idea of the v6 or s2k swap. youre just gonna get flamed.
yeah im sure it can be done the labor alone will be just as much as brand new s2000 car. and once its done you wont be needing seat warmers coz youd be sitting on the motor.....lol

HAHAHAHAHA
this is a joke right?

nobody has done them because it takes so much money YOU COULD BUY an s2000 or a v6 accord (wich is a POS engine btw)

you need to do ALOT of research before you start doing a swap...

Go with the H22 swap. Do more research before you do it too. The H22 is only 2500 bucks, that would leave you 2500 more for putting some new parts in the engine.

There's a reason why nobody does those swaps:

The V6 swap is just plain STUPID and the S2000 swap would be crazy expensive.

The V6 Accord motor is crap. It has 200hp. Wow. The amount of fabrication needed just to get a shitty Luxo-Economy V6 motor in your civic would be simply retarded.

The S2000 swap is probably in the works from some rich person or some shop, but honestly it's just too expensive to do in a Civic. You are aware that the S2000 is obviously rear-wheel drive and the engine sits completely sideways when compared to your Civic, right?

If your parents will loan you as much money as you want then by all means waste it!

those swaps probably arent feasible, just get a b18c5, like everyone else would, and be happy. I mean youre better off doing a sr20det swap in a 5th gen then the v6 or the s2k, and those are actually possible, i just dont 5k will do it. Good luck anyways though.

peace,
chazz

I'll take a stand and probably get flamed, but i like the idea. It's very unique, i've never seen it done before or even attempted. There could be reasons for that, but hell why not try, somebody had to be the first to drop a teg motor into the civic, why not try the accord engine. If your just looking to be unique vs. running the car at the track, go for it, but i warn you it probably won't come out right the first time and you might have to spend alot to get things fixed.

Dude, if you really want something different, put a QV30 out of a Maxima. They even make turbo's for that motor. No one could catch you!

autoEXturbo:

The Accord V6 is a pile of **** in terms of trying to race with it.

Where's the manual tranny?

Oh that's right, they never offered one.

Look it's a motor that was designed for good, SMOOTH and QUIET power, not high-revving racing that would be done if it were swapped into a Civic. The motor puts out 200hp and great torque, but it's NOT meant to be driven hard a lot like the B-Series and H-Series motors are.

PLEASE by all means do the swap and bring it to your local dragstrip so you can get beat down by a B18C1 swap that costed 1/4 of the cost after you try to fabricate all that crap and get the necessary electronics to try and get it running right.

...Plus you'll have an automatic that will fall apart once you give it an extra 50-hp or so (possible with nitrous or boost of some sort.)

Way to go!
