Default Is 98 civic ex vtec????

My fiance just picked up a 98 ex was wondering if its vtec. My dad has a 95 ex and its vtec. I would think 98 ex would be vtec if 95ex is

yes, I believe as long as hondas had EX they had SOHC VTEC. It puts out like 130 HP

Thanks for all the replys. I wasnt sure becasue it redlines the same as my 94 ls integra. My dads 95 civic redlines way higher like the usual vtec action

doesn't it say on the valve cover anyway? ...and if you need more power, don't spend so much on rims silly

yeah the fuel cut on the d16z6 was a little higher than the d16y8
