Default Is intercooler + piping engine or chassis dependant?

Like if someone is selling a turbo kit off a d series and I buy just his intercooler kit for my b series, will it fit? 92 - 00 civics all the same?

THe one to worry about in that situation is the main pipe going from the bottom of the engine bay to the throttle body. If it were a GS-R, the pipe will come in differently than if it were a B16/Type R .So in some ways, its both chassis and intake manifold dependent.
