Anyone know how to fix is
Everytime i turn my key on the needle goes up. I know what it is i juss dont know how to fix it. Also if i mess with the wire it will either stay down or go right back up either one . Any help or suggestions would and would be appreciated.

fix the wire. Yes, it's just one wire.

 

How do i fix the wire though ?

 

Cut the wire at the end of the OEM plug (at the sensor on the block) and use one of those bullet female connectors. Crimp, heat shrink, and you're good to go. Less than 2 minutes of work.

Also measure the resistance of the temp sending unit itself. It or the connector/plug may be bad or contaminated with oil.
