This thing really weekly? I'm from Chicago and was hoping to check out the local scene. From what I hear from some homies, there aren't a lot of serious street cars here in SoCal anymore. I'm hoping that they're wrong.

 

I was told last friday was the first meet. I got there around 9:30 and saw maybe 25 cars i think. They said there were more earlier.

Yeah I think it'll be ok as long as all of us attending buy something from the plaza.

 

Even closer for me so id go. Artesia and western are big streets so theyre regular patrolling routes for cops. I dont see them hassling anyone driving if youre not drawing attention to yourself though.

For reference theres a meet at kmart (110fwy and torrance blvd) on wednesdays. There was a meet on mondays at walmart on 190th and normandie but i didnt see any cars yesterday but also i think that starts at 9. I cruised through before then. The kmart meet seems more like a burger king meet cuz thats where everyone was parking last i saw. lol

Is the meet going on at krispy kreme?

 

came to the meet.. and some VW people was chilling.. so i stayed for a bit and left cause no honda's.. lol..

they told me some honda guys were doing burn out and donuts around the lot though...

 

If you posted at 9p im guessing you showed up sometime after. Sounds like people showed up, acted stupid and everyone left before you got there. And unless its rwd (s2k only) a honda isnt gonna do a donut.
