Default AEM cai ques on 94 vtec

I just got a 94 vtec lude and already have ordered an aem cai. Was just wondering if it is gonna whistle like my friends si and like my freinds type r. Is it as lound and deep and theirs when they hit vtec. Also did i make a mistake should i have gone for the injen or comptech? Do u think aem will be alright. did search and read material but i want more info. Also does aem fit properly??? and can some give me prices on injen and iceman vs aem. Thanks

mine doesn't whistle all that much

comptech doesn't make an intake for the lude, i would choose AEM over injen

the aem will fit fine, you have to enlarge the hole going from the engine bay to the bumper a little, but not too much

why are you trying to compare prices now? you already ordered it, just be happy with it

actually, i fit mine without any cutting. you just have to kinda force it in there, but don't go buckwild and pull out a sledge hammer on the thing.
AEM is good, i'm happy with mine. it's not loud when you drive normally, but once you're WOT it gets pretty loud, especially when you hit VTEC. at idle you will be able to hear some whistle if you stand next to it. sounds sweet

Hmm mine whistles a fair bit...I can hear it when decelerating a LOT. And anytime over 4000rpms it starts to whistle, and when you put the pedal to the floor.

My AEM CAI didn't whistle that loudly, it would sometimes at like 2-3k rpm under heavy under good throttal. My friend's ITR whistles a ton and it sounds cool imo
