Serial to USB that works with AEM EMS (need help choosing)
Been looking at 2 of them.
IOGEAR and TRENDnet

1) AEM guys have been using both from what i see... Been reading that IOGEAR has driver issues though, has it been fixed?
2) Also anyone have experience using both ?
3) Any other options that work out there ?
4) Any user feedback ?

Parallax has one for $15. It uses FTDI drivers so it's very stable.

Looks good..... does it work fine with the AEM EMS ?
Also have you used it personally ?
Can a case be purchased for it ?

Thanks! I've tried another adapter, with Vista, and it failed. Everything connected and worked just fine until about 10 seconds after the car was started, the laptop bluescreened on me every time.
I'll give this adapter a shot, and if it doesnt work maybe its time to get rid of Vista
