Hi guys, I m driving FD1 07 model civic. Wen to a few workshop no one can solve my problem. This is the problem. When I engage in drive mode. The car have a pulsating sound. Not very loud. But u have to off the audio in other to hear it. When I accelerate from gear 1 to 2 ( auto ) the tick tick tick sound ( pulsating) get faster. But when 3 rd gear onward. The sound is gone.
I wonder if any of u guys here can helP me. I have change the tensioner, alternator , belt, all canot solve the Problen. Have been troubleshooting for 2 days. Only in driver seat than can hear the sound. The workshop guy told me have to wait till sound get louder than go back to them.
Could it be the catalytic convertor gasket leaking. Pls help.

My audio canot load CD after batt disconnected n fix back. Hw to reset the audio head unit ? The CD mode always show BZ.

 

what about the reverse?? I doubt it's cat. converter gasket leaking because if it is, it should be on all gears.
