95 teg rough cold starts...(searched)
hey guys, been having this problem since I bought it a week ago.
its a automatic obd1 95 Integra.
I have to press the gas pedal in the mornings until it revs up. if I don't press the pedal it dies.
wierd things that when its in normal temperature it starts up fine.only when its really cold.
I cleaned the iacv and nothing.
when I bought it the previous owner had to put a new radiator, so it has a new radiator, most likely it over-heated. could it be the coolant Temperature sensor?
I did the paper clip trick to check the code and wtf the abs light blinks? it blinks 18, one long and 8 short ones

Ok first thing....is there a CEL when you start the car normally?
second the ABS light blinking means there is a problem with your ABS system.
1 8 = high pressure system
ECU and ABS codes

And just for ***** and giggles, check your coil and ICM connections under the dizzy cap. I had a similar problem and it ended up being a loose connection with my icm.

thanks for the info, I checked the module in the dizzy, its good. haven't checked the coil. but I doubt it could be it.
there is no cel when I start the car, it goes on after like 20 min of driving, some guy in AutoZone toldme it still throws a code even if it takes a while for it to come on but cel doesn't blink when I put a paperclip.
I have to press the gas pedal all the way for it to rev up normally, could it be something by the throttle body? tps or map sensor?

Ive done a little searching around for solid CEL after "jumping" and all I seem to find is that the ECU may be the culprit.
Have you checked the FITV? usually the IAC and the FITV go hand in hand when you check/clean one or the other.

to add to above post....also some say solid light means ok...dont know man.
Just to make sure you are "jumping" it with the vehicle off and then turning the ignition without starting car right?

im pretty sure im doing it right its not my first time I do this.
ima take it to AutoZone so they can use the real thing to check the cel and then ima check the fitv
thanks alot for the feedback, I greatly appreciate it.
