Default DRL, low-beam and high-bean (headlight) issue

Car: 2003 EM2 Sedan
Headlight: 9003

Problem:
During DRL, only the driver's side headlight is on. Passenger side headlight is off. There is buzzing sound in the cabin, maybe coming from the glove box area.

During low beam, both low-beam headlights are on.

During high beam, only the driver's side high-beam headlight is on. Passenger side high-beam is off.

I already tried swapping the fuses (in the hood and under the steeling wheel) and headlights and the problem is still there. I think it has something to do with the headlight on the passenger side.

Did anyone get this before? How can I fix it? Thanks

Hey I know what to do now. The sound is coming from behind the glove box. So I opened it and try to see where te sound is coming from and I think I found the problem.

After you remove the glove box, look all the way to your left. You will see two relays ("cube" like object), one black and one gray. The one making the sound is the gray one. You can pull it out (pull it vertically, to the sky). It's just like a plug.

The relay is MITSUBA JAPAN RC-5102 12v 1T 2XG.

So RC-5102 relay is the item to replace.

Now if you know where I can get it online (ship to Canada) or how much is it from dealer, let me know.

You could try repairing the DRL module yourself, if that fails, buy a replacement.

From the FAQ's..

Awesome information!!!
It was just afew days ago I just got frustrated and just pulled the interior DRL fuse itself from my 2001 Civic. Cured the problem for my needs; no sound, no flickering DRL dash light.

I couldn't really care if my DRL's are on or not in a 10yr old car. At early dawn, dusk and at night is when I will actually need to turn on my main lights physically anyway.

had the same problem and the fix was one of the wires that's coming from the connector that connect to the combination switch (headlight switch) was at the wrong pin. you got to get a schematic and match it to your wiring

I started to get this buzzing over the last few days, and my high beam passendger side light doesnt come on anymore, I pulled the module out today and had a look, 10 solder joints all cracked, it amazes me that such a common problem doesnt have a recall.
Anyway ill be attempting to redo those joints tonight.
