Soft pedal, then sinking slowly......help
I just bought an EG with GSR brakes. I don't know civics very well yet. The m3 I had before, and the current s2000 I have both have hard brake pedals. The civic I just bought seems soft and then if I apply firm pressure the pedal will slowly sink. I will bleed them today but does this sound like a particular problem?
Most likely either air in the line (unlikely; air will be more like a brick wall), old janky fluid (if it's dark, get it changed). It could also be master cylinder with shot seals, pushing fluid past the seals. Or, a bad slave cylinder, pushing fluid out.
Good luck finding your issues.

Thanks. So of course I will bleed and replace with dot 4 fluid. Is there something I can do to diagnos the seal issue if it turns outvthe fluid change doesn't solve it?
My seals were junk and no one made a seal kit anymore (they did 10 years ago), I had to just replace the whole MC with a used one. Works great now.
