I am trying to figure out a recent transmission problem. From 1st thru 3rd gears, it makes intermittent noises. Sometimes i could eliminate the noise by quickly letting off the gas pedal. I best explanation of this noise is like an exhaust leak but much more subtle. Its definitely not throw out bearing noise. Help me diagnose this noise. Can it be just a shifter linkage bushing? Or maybe more terminal like ISB noise? thanks.
