When in the year is a good time to get a paint job?
Should I get my Prelude painted now, and let it sit through winter? Or should I wait until spring?
Will the paint not cure correctly in cool weather?

im in the same postian, mine will be ready to paint in about a month or so... i think im going to wait so it doesnt have to go though all the weathing of the winter...but if curing is your only worry then it will be fine now
At any decent body shop, they bake the car after it's painted anyway. Curing in winter isn't an issue.
i say weather doesnt matter.. ur car is gonna see all kinds of weather anyway... do this.. paint at the beginning of the year, so that way u can enjoy it for the rest of the year.

Well, I guess it makes sense. It shouldn't matter what time of the year to get it painted.
The bodyshop is doing the paint work has a life-time warranty against paint fade or cracks. So I guess they'll just have to repaint it if it gets screwed up sitting through winter.
Then again, I would hate to see a new paint job sit over winter. Guess I'll wait until spring.
