2004 Acura RSX Type S clean and tasteful
SOLD!!!!!
Selling my wifes 2004 Acura RSX Type S. We have had the car for about 4 years. Car currently has 98,000 miles on the ticker. This vehicle has been lady driven since new, we purchased it from a couple in Virginia with about 50,000 miles on the car. Oil has always been changed every 5000 miles with Royal Purple motor oil and has never been abused. The car used to be black but got in an accident just over a year ago at which time I changed the color of the car to Taffeta White. I work at a Collision Repair facility, so the repairs were done right, using only OEM parts. I have a copy of the estimate and pictures of the repairs that were made if you would like to see them. No frame damage was done, all the damage was above the frame rails. She reallly hates to see it go, but we are not in need of sedan since she is pregnant. All the jambs have been sprayed except for the engine compartment which remains black. Also has the black leather interior which also makes this car a bit unique since as many of you know white with black leather interior was not a factory option in the US and is in great condition. The car has been tastefully modded with the following:
JDM Type R front lip, sideskirts, rear lip (replicas but fit well, front lip is urethane)
JDM Type R rear spoiler (also replica I believe, on the car when purchased)
JDM Type R shift boot and **** (authentic)
JDM Type R door sills
JDM Type R catback exhaust (also have the stock exhaust)
JDM Type R front brake cooling ducts in font bumper
JDM Type R red Honda badges
Cross drilled and slotted rotors F & R along with pads
Tein SS coilovers (also comes with OEM struts with Tein drop springs)
Injen charcoal short ram intake (just replaced air filter with K & N)
Carbon fiber spark plug and intake covers
Depo JDM type R Headlights
4300K HID kit
18 x 8.5 Volk LE37N's +30 painted gold and has a true polished lip
(also comes with stock type s rims with tires)
JDM sidemarkers
rear quarters have been shaved and pulled to fit more aggressive offset wheels.
I also recently replace the front axles, front ball joints, and front wheel bearings trying to get rid of a slight rubbing type noise. I am now convinced it is the struts because the sound remains the same no matter what speed you are going. This does not affect the driveability of the car at all, just is slightly annoying. Also has a small dent and scratch in the hood that I plan on repairing before the new owner takes delivery of the car. The car has not been abused at all since it has been lady driven 95% of its life, I am not even sure if my wife has even hit IVTEC. Clutch still grips great. Really don't want to see it go but it is time for a sedan, will entertain trade offers for sedans such as Acura Tl's, Lexus IS350, or a BMW 335i, possibly others so don't be afraid to ask. I will also be willing to put cash towards your car.
