Engine bay wiring help!!!!!!!!
So today i began rewiring alot of loose wires and might i say the previous owner has done a pretty crappy job but now i'm at a stand still with itbecause i am having some trouble adentifying what the rest of these wires go to. So i figured i might as well ask some of you crx guy's. Would anybody happen to know what these wire go to and what purpose do they serve?

These were located on the lower passenger side right where the corner of the bumper is

These are located in the engine bay next to the wires of the headlight on the driver side

(4 red wired with a black stipe) located next to firewall

All of the wires thats in my hand

I wouldnt even mess with it if I were you. Do what crx-sir said above.
Just buy another one. You will have more faith in the reliability of a new harness. Its just not worth the hassle to try and figure out all of the wires on your current harness. And also, who knows if there are any wires missing or completely cut off???

pic #1 i would guess at bumper lights, headlights and or horn
pic #2 headlights, corner lights, horn and washer nozzles
pic #3 engine harness shock tower plug (mainly for injectors to the resistor box)
pic #4 map sensor and evap purge solenoid
those are my guesses, but like i said its in your best interest to find a complete car harness.

easy as pie just disconnenct all the plugs and unbolt any little clips holding it to the car then put the new one on the same way you removed the old

^^ There's no parts listing for an '88 SI Civic but, there is a listing for an '88 SI CRX. It could have been built the previous year. My old '88 DX (EF) was actually a half-year model made in June of '87. God help ya if you have one and are trying to find rear window brackets.
your best bet is the junkyard. if you cant find an 88 si, then you can always get a DX harness and convert it to mpfi. if you do find and 88 si chassis harness i can build you a brand new 88 si harness. pm me if you need one.
The local junkyards around here dont have a crx but the closest thing i know of is a 88 civic hatch that is an automatic. but i'm not sure if it will work since i have a crx and the other is a 88 civic hatch
