my girlfriends car has been having issues starting after she drives it she will park and come back to it a to leave after a few minutes and it wont start for several minurtes

ive checked/replaced

ICM
dist cap/rotor/wires/plugs

im thinking either the main relay or igntion switch or maybe a weak coil but im not too familiar with these cars (for good reason i will never own one its a hateful car lol) when i look one up i see 3 prongs on the main relay but on my car the main has 7 prongs

any info would be great

I had the same problem. It ended up being the main relay

 

X2 i had the same problem last year and replacing the main relay fixed it.

 

gonna have to bring this one back from the dead. i too had the same problem replaced the main relay and within a few days the problem came back. plugged back in the old main relay and no problems til the next day.

do i have to get an oem main relay perhaps?

been trying to find a replacement starter. its an h22a1 5 speed. though when i install the 5 speed starter nothing happens. my old starter looks like the auto starter. with the 5 speed starter i would not even get a starter click when trying to start. with the other starter it starts perfectly until its been driven for a long time. then when trying to start i get the famous starter click

immobilizer perhaps?
