Quick question. 1) How much cheaper would it be for me to use an Integra Type R LSD and 2) How much hp can they support on a turbocharged LS running 20lbs of boost looking for 350whp and 275-300lbs/ft torque?

That's kinda pushing it....however, many people who tell you that the ITR LSD will break, do so when they load and unload the differential while they're making the power. Hard to explain, but I'll try...

If you have both tires on the ground and are making 300-350hp, and you're accelerating in a straight line, then it should be okay. Same as if you're just mashing on the gas while you're moving.

It's when you're turning hard and hitting bumps and boosting hard that you might have problems with the LSD. Here's you loading it up, and unload it hard.

If im not mistaken the type r lsd is a clutch type lsd and does not use gears therefore it will wear out and also will not support that much power, I think max on those are about 300 and that may be pushing it. Do it right and get a quaife it will last longer than a pornstar on viagra

 

Type R LSD is a gear type differential.

I'm running one on my turbo GSR which has never been over about 270 hp and have had no troubles. Then again, I don't race it.

 

I have a full type r trans making 460hp+ and I have not hadany problems YET, but I probably just cursed myself

If you don't have a LSD then just pay the extra $ and
get the best one you can get. (quaife)
