car won't stay running...INJECTOR ISSUE?
I’m having issues starting up my car that I believe is associated with the fuel pump / fuel injectors. I have a ’95 civic with a B18C. When I turn the ignition on and I hear my fuel pump prime and once I start cranking the engine the car will start and then die 2 – 3 seconds later. My fuel pump and main relay are grounded. I verified this through a continuity test. Has anyone encountered this problem before?
Any CEL codes?
Is spark bright white at all four spark plugs?
Does starting fluid keep the engine running?
Is the mechanical timing dead on? Do all four cylinders have similar good compression?

If starter fluid does not keep the engine running, then you don't have a fuel problem.
Are the plug wires installed in the correct firing order on the distributor cap?
Post pictures of the mechanical timing at TDC1.
What were the cylinder compressions?

All plugs and wires are installed correctly. I did not touch any of those since the car was running last. The only thing that is different is the replacement of the stock harness with a Chase Bays mil spec harness. What do I check on the PCV valve to know if it is good? When I go home I’m going to try starter fluid again, I just spray in the throttle body, correct? I should be able to do a continuity test to verify that my injectors are grounded, right? Thanks for your help.

Usually the pcv valve clicks if you shake the valve..or usually if u blow on it, you would feel air comming out a certain way...i had a pcv valve completely shut off a driving car....and YES if there is raw fuel anywhere around fuel regulator or injectors, means u got a big leak.....usually i take off one end of the fuel rail and turn the key..and let the system prime and see if fuel comes out...thats how i do a quick guess if its fuel or spark....pcv valves are pretty cheap..maybe consider replacing anyways..but now im begining to believe u have a fuel problem...check your injector o-rings or maybe the banjo fittings and washers
