UPDATE:
I tried checking the CEL this past weekend, did the step by step rule from the sticky thread in the 92-00 Civic/del sol section but apparently nothing is happening. When I turn the car to the Power On (II) position the CEL will come on but quickly shut off. If turn over the engine, the CEL will come on and stay on. I used a paper clip. May try a 2-pin conn. as recommended in the thread
I'm going to see if there is a way around this.
I'll also try to reset the SRS light as well. One less light to worry about.

you have to connect the current (w/ bent paperclip) on the green plug ( two prong plug ) and turn the key to acces. and back off then back on and watch for the CEL to blink, count how many times and look up the code, if your exhaust is rusted at all or your running a lower octane fuel the carbon will kill your O2 sensor overtime, simple fix.. or could be vaccum lines, splices.. etc etc bump for a clean EK!

Small updates:
1. Recently found out what the CEL is for. Primary oxygen sensor heater (Code 41). I did the paper clip loop to the blue connector and it flashed as it should. Simple fix and shouldnt cost much.
2. The rebuilt transmission is 80% complete. I had ordered a new shim, bearing and plastic oil plate and expected for them to come in yesterday but they will not be here until Monday, tuesday the latest.
3. Car is still available. 1st come 1st serve, I am no longer holding out on other offers.
I am looking to get $2000 FIRM for the car. Nothing less.
A bit frustrated as I had an appointment scheduled and set others aside and unfortunately nothing happened. I will be responding to those in the order I received the PM's in. Thank you for those who bumped
