What to do with a cbr600 motor?
One of my buddys has a cbr600 motor and we want to take on some kind of project to put it in some kind of frame, or ever custom fab our on frame. Anyone have any ideas for doing this?
actually I went over to his house and found out that its only cb360 2 cylinder motor. Aparently he did not know what he was talking about. lol.
Okay sweet. Thanks. But can someone help me with one last question, I havent really messed with these kind of motors and since this motor is like from the 70's, what all does it need to run, such as wiring, and does it have a ecu or anything of that sort?
fuel, spark, compression
make sure it has the carburetors, and an ignition coil, to be honest i dont know how the contact points work on those super old bikes, but it cant be too hard to figure out.
youd be best off finding the manual for the original bike the motor came from, it will have diagrams of everything the bike needs to run
